    Great read

Thoroughly enjoyed the story! Will definitely read more George the Heyer books. Her books are always a good read.

    Excellent

This was a well-thought out, carefully constructed and gripping story. It was my favourite Georgette Heyer book and I have read many of her novels over the years.

    My favourite Heyer

My favourite of all the Georgette Heyers. Great story line, wonderful characters and a heroine who puts the hero in exactly the place he deserves to be. Do read 'These Old Shades' first as it tells the story of the heros father and mother and sets the scene for this story.
