  • Terra starts Shiftless, but the book isn't.

I liked this book for the easy character development, as I was quickly invested in the people in the story. World and pack rules are seamlessly inserted into the plot, and you feel the tension and rejoice in the successes. This book is a real page turner, and I can recommend it to be read by teens and codgers alike. There is romance but no steamy scenes. No purple prose filler in this book distracting from a great story. Shiftless is a good read for men and women alike. Book two (Pack Princess), however, does contain one R rated sentence that could have easily been omitted, and might require a parental review before you allow a 16 year old to read or be recommended to your grandmother. Shiftless can easily stand alone as a great addition to the genre, but if you get invested in the characters of Shiftless, you will want to read more from this author as I have.

  • A Good Read

If you like stories about shifters, you'll enjoy this novel. The characters are well written with just enough information to define them, but not bore the reader. The plot is interesting and moves along at a fast pace. There is a different twist to this shifter tale. I found it different enough that I'm looking forward to reading more from this series.

  • Shiftless

I downloaded this book as a free ebook & utterly enjoyed it! I like the characters, the story line & While the bases of the story is fantastical, the actions & reactions are believable. Also while i do very much enjoy a good Paranormal Romance, it was nice to read something that the sole bases of the book did not revolve around sex. I have now brought the remaining booking in the rampant wolf set, as well as Wolfies vox set. Would recommend to any paranormal/Fantasy readers.

  • Good stuff

Enjoyable to read a werewolf romance that's not focused on smut-and in fact had no smut whatsoever. It's good because it lets you focus on the relationships and the politics going on...and the MC's character development.

  • Rambling along

Made it to chapter three before I gave up. First, real wolves do not prey on humans, so that put me off immediately. Second, as it often is in these werewolf books, they act like the alpha male controls all. Please, if you are writing about wolves, take the time to actually understand wolf behavior. Third, the constant shift from present to past felt like the author wasn’t very good at plot points and it was very distracting. Fourth, the main character came off as pathetic and therefore I wasn’t interested in reading anymore about her. This needs an entire rewrite. Glad it was a free ebook.
