Achmed Abdullah, pseudonym of Alexander Nicholayevitch Romanoff, was a writer of Russian origin. He is best known for his tales of crime pulp, mystery and adventure. He wrote screenplays for several hit movies. He was the author of the drama Siamese twins Chang progressive: the drama of the desert, an Academy Award-nominated film in 1927.
