Sitting in the NY offices of Olympia one day, Maurice Girodias looked up from his copy of the Pleasure Bound trilogy, and said to his assistant--"boat, mais of course, but it cannot be this old boat; non! We must, yes, combine something, ah, the religion, yo-ho, the Southern religion, and the boat. And the hypocrisy, yes! And that will be our book. And we shall call it, the Sex of Angels, for our book will tie the religion of the South, and the boat, and the hypocrisy. Have it written by s...

In this fast-paced and thoroughly gripping story, we meet two criminals, the appositely named Moon and Sky, without being given any indication originally of what their crime has been. We get to know them and begin to understand them only gradually as we see them through the eyes of Linda Maddison, a young and innocent secretary to a bank official. The crimes they commit against Linda are certainly real and reprehensible enough—but the thoughtful reader will want to know what forces drove t...

Such was the case of Laura E., whose active mind was becoming increasingly stifled by the drudgery of staying home and doing housework with only the minimal relief from those stationary chores. Her husband Steve, concerned about the boredom pattern that was setting in, purchased his lovely wife a pet, a beautiful German shepherd named Henry who served as a marvelous companio...

The young whores of Paris--loose, desirable and carefree. The sexual freedom of the capital city had given them morals that were, at best, unfettered. And their customers, both young and old, were more than willing to participate in the bizarre lusts of these unusual girls of the street. They found in them a passionate outlet for their own desires, an abandoned...

In only the last two years in America has a marketplace developed for the interchange of ideas, experiences, and fantasies in the sexual area. Consequently, much literary material, previously hidden and or suppressed, has come to light. In particular, Victorian fiction has been uncovered that shows those people were human after all (how, we might have wondered, did they ever manage to make babies in all that stuffiness!) A Ravished Maid, recently gotten from a private collection in London....

I was born in the village of D——, in the country of L——, and (like most Others) had but one mOther, but cannot exactly answer for the number of fathers, as my poor innocent mOther had more than once aspersions thrown on her character. One said she was seen, while my nominal father was from home, to go in her nightgown to the barn, where had a few minutes before our man, John Cods, been gone. A servant maid spread abroad that once passing her room she heard a whispering, and, knowing her ma...

“In most respects, the bored character resembles those in chronic, neurotic depressed states. There is a lack of appetite for life, a lack of any deep interest in anything or anybody, a feeling of powerlessness and resignation; personal relations—including erotic and sexual ones—are thin and flat, and there is little joy or contentment. Yet, in contrast to the depressed, chronically bored persons do not tend to torture themselves by feelings of guilt or sin, they are not centered around th...
