"Luke's Walk With God" is an effort to take a "devotional" walk with Jesus and His ministry. A verse by verse walk, through the notes and writings of Luke, walking along with Jesus and trying to experience our Lord's teachings through His many parables, watching His miracles, and trying to learning from His daily experiences.

David's Walk with God follows David's life from his days as a shepherd in 1 Samuel 16, to his death in 1 Kings 2.It is a verse by verse "devotional" walk through the life of David. In 1 Samuel, God refers to David as "A man after my own heart" (1 Samuel 13:14)By studying the life of David, we will get an insight into the heart of God. Walk with me, and let's see how David's life reflects his relationship with God.

In 1 Samuel 13:14 and later in the book of Acts 13:22, David is called a man after God’s own heart. This intrigued me. I sought to do a study of David’s life using 1 Samuel 16 through 1 Kings 2 and “walk with David” and try to learn why King David had this title.

This devotional is to encourage you to have a daily devotiona time of reading and prayer in Gods presence. It is also a road map for reading through the Bible in a year. It is a long journey, but it will go quickly, believe me. In this journey, we will get better acquainted with the God of the Bible. Let us learn to walk with him daily!
