This book attempts to generate awareness among primary level teachers on what to teach and how to do it. The book pays attention to activity based learning. It is aimed to train teachers in the four language components: teaching handwriting, teaching nursery rhymes, techniques of storytelling and developing oral communication skills. This book is prepared for the teachers of vernacular medium elementary schools. For non English speaking countries, it is an excellent handbook.
