Max ist der größte Dino-Fan aller Zeiten! Eines Tages katapultiert ihn ein magisches Fossil mitten in die Welt der Dinosaurier, wo viele Abenteuer auf ihn warten. Diesmal kümmert er sich bei seiner Reise ins Dinoland um einen verletzten Ankylosaurus, der aus dem Tierasyl ausgebrochen ist und dringend Hilfe braucht. Max wünscht sich nichts mehr, als einmal einen echten Dinosaurier zu treffen! Eines Tages findet er bei einem Ausflug einen Ammoniten, der ihn mitten in eine andere Welt katapultiert. Endlich ist es so weit: Das magische Fossil bringt Max zurück zu seinen neuen Freunden. Wieder brauchen die Dinos seine Hilfe. Warum kann der Bactrosaurus bloß nichts mehr fressen? Er wird immer schwächer. Hat Max die rettende Idee?

Max' größter Wunsch geht in Erfüllung: Ein magisches Fossil lässt ihn ins Land der Dinosaurier reisen! Dort wird seine Hilfe bei der Auswilderung eines jungen Lambeosaurus benötigt. Algies Fußverletzung ist verheilt, doch er ist noch sehr schwach. Wird ihn seine Herde wieder aufnehmen? Unterwegs begegnen Max und seine Freunde einem Stegosaurus, der sehr traurig aussieht und herzzerreißend wimmert. Kann Max den beiden Dinosauriern helfen?
