While out on a ride, Bibi and Tina meet a movie director who plans to shoot a western in the area. Soon the two girls are actively involved, Amadeus and Sabrina are movie stars, and Martin's Farm is housing the film crew. Bibi and Tina find out the hard way that shooting a film is exhausting and full of surprises.

Bibi and Tina can hardly believe it: Freddy has fallen in love with Amélie, one of the guests at Martin's Farm. In order to be around her, he even signs up for riding lessons. But Amélie only has eyes for the horses, and all of Freddy's efforts are in vain. His only chance is to ask Bibi and Tina for help.

Alex comes riding up to Bibi and Tina, completely distraught. They can't believe what he tells them: Falkenstein Castle is up for sale! The Count is so terribly distressed by it all that he wants to move away with Alex afterwards. Bibi and Tina are stunned. Will the friends be able to prevent the sale?

Bibi and Tina buy a birthday present for Mrs. Martin at Junkshop Jack's: a necklace with a horseshoe pendant. But when she wears it, Count Falko notices that it resembles his grandmother's heirloom. And indeed, this very heirloom is missing from the castle! Could Junkshop Jack be a thief? Bibi and Tina don't believe it!

Every year, Bibi and Tina celebrate their friendship day. It's the day Bibi first came to Martin's Farm and their friendship began. They like to celebrate the day alone, surprising one another with nice things. But this year it's like the day is jinxed; there's always someone who needs their help.

Bibi, Tina, and Alex have become enthusiastic members of Falkenstein's volunteer youth fire brigade. The forester, Mr. Greenfinch, teaches them how to put out fires and conduct search and rescue. Unfortunately Count Falko has other plans for his son and spoils the whole thing for everyone. What was fun suddenly gets serious!

Alexander is getting ready for a dressage tournament at Gripgood Manor. Bibi and Tina are helping him train. But the date on the invitation was wrong, and the event is actually tomorrow. Since Alexander has lots of important appointments that day, Bibi and Tina agree to cover for him. Then they make an incredible discovery!

Bernard Blocksberg wants to get to know Martin's Farm and all the animals there, but horses frighten him. That's why Bibi and Tina are so puzzled when he suddenly accepts the Count's invitation to join a fox hunt. Only later does he realize that he's expected to ride a horse and Bibi's daddy finds himself on horseback for the very first time.

But then someone breaks into the stall at night and steals all the merchandise. Bibi and Tina think they might know who the culprit is.

Count Falko is visited by Prince von Zoffenberg, an important client of his. Bibi and Tina accidently frighten him twice with their rambunctious riding. This prompts Count Falko to complain to Mrs. Martin, who forbids the girls from riding. But then the Prince unexpectedly needs Bibi and Tina's help - which means they've got to ride!

Almost everyone in Falkenstein is annoyed with one another right now. Tina and Alex are quarreling. Mrs. Martin is upset with the Count. Even the horses Sabrina and Amadeus aren't getting along. Can Bibi use the mandrake formula from her herbology class at witch school to dispel the anger?
