One of the original female sci-fi writers, Margaret St. Clair was a trailblazer, writing mainly in the pulp magazines in the 1940s and 50s. St. Clair wrote under her own name and her pseudonym Idris Seabright as well as the house pseudonym of Wilton Hazzard at Planet Stories.
