John D. MacDonald wrote a series of novels based on the his character Travis McGee. Each book in the series had a color associated with it. MacDonald said that the last book in the series would use the color black. Unfortunately, he died before writing the book.This book was written as a tribute to Mr. MacDonald. It is in no way meant to equal his work. If you do enjoy it, I know you will love the original works.
