  • Soo AMAZING but then... :(

The book contains beauitfully written scenes that play through your head. Fantastic use of similes and vivid words that brought this heart-warming book. I loved the 3 books all together. It was Soo AMAZING... But then.. :( I was so sad when I came to the last 2/3 chapters because, (yes yes great ending and all but) the ending was rushed. R-U-S-H-E-D. • THE NEXT PART OF THIS REVIEW IS A SPOILER. DO NOT CONTINUE READING IF YOU DO NOT WISH TO KNOW SOMETHING SHOCKING.• The way Olivia died at the end was sad/relieving and all but Amy told Olivia's death wayyy too quickly. There wasnt much connection in that part of the chapter which made me a little dissapointed. Also, when the Happy Ending happened, it felt like the author rushed the last few details that were added. Great overall book. Highly suggest it to anyone! (I loved the connection with Cas and Em, I wanted them to finish their little kitchen date.. Not cut off to the next perspective.

  • Fantastic

Wow. I don't normally write reviews for books, but I knew I had to here. My favourite part was the world. Ruina, Lera, Olso and Vallos feel as real and familiar to me as my own home. The society is even better. Nobody scorns strong women simply for being women. Gay and bisexual representation is accepted, and not in insignificant characters. Aside from the genocide and the wars, I would love to live there. The characters are complex, deep, and flawed. It's awe inspiring to see the inner struggles and workings of each character's point of view. The plot is predictable and unpredictable at the same time. Readers wil think they know the whole story beforehand, and then a twist no one saw coming will leave them ready for and needing more. Congrats, Amy Tintera! Your trilogy was incredible.
