    Finally Wolfe

Swoon worthy Hero!!! Wolfe is everything I had hoped he would be. Since the very first Deep Ops book I’ve been curious about what made this brooding standoffish man tick. With his surgery lattes and a kitten in his pocket he wove his way into our hearts. Dana is a tough reporter determined to find out what happened to her friend. The bad guy is super creepy and crazy evil. The Deep Ops team is quirky and unique and I love watching each couple fall one by one. The wedding and Dana’s family are hilarious and of coarse Roscoe as always stole the show with his crazy antics. We are introduced to new team members which means one of my favorite series will go on longer. The perfect combination of suspense, romance and humor!!!

    amazing

Just waw, another amazing story and this is so far the best from the Deep ops series. Both Wolf and Dana of course amazing. We get to know why is Wolf the way he is and who is Dana. I loved that the story was combined with TLC and action, suspense, that we saw pain, struggle, and love, lots of love. We meet new characters and we see how the old ones are doing. I can't wait to read the next book one in the series because this was phenomenal. I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for NetGalley

    Romantic Suspense

Broken by Rebecca Zanetti Deep Ops #3 Lighter in some ways than the previous books this story still had plenty going on. Wolfe has been intriguing throughout the series with the kitten named Kat in his pocket that he takes with him everywhere. He has been strong and somewhat silent while providing super sweet coffee beverages with shipped cream and sprinkles. I was eager to read his story and hear who he would end up with. That said, though I enjoyed the story it was not my favorite of this series. I think the reason was that I didn’t feel the same depth to the story as I felt in the previous books. What I liked: * Wolfe: a giant of a man with lethal skills, a TBI to contend with, much loss in his life and a man who genuinely cares for his friends and team. * Dana: dedicated to her job she will do just about anything for her job, as we saw in the first chapter. She assists the Deep Ops team from time to time, is trying to find out what happened to a friend/colleague and has definite interest in Wolfe. * The team: a great collection of misfits that find their niche together * The relationship that develops between Wolfe and Dana * Dana’s family and the way they give a sense of what family and sisterhood is. * That the bad guy was thwarted What I did not like: * The bad guy: truly evil and needed to be put down * Being left to wonder what the story is with Lassiter BUT know that is the thread that hooks the team together in the end…or think it will. Did I enjoy this book? Yes Would I read more in this series? Yes Thank you to NetGalley and Kensington Zebra for the ARC – This is my honest review. 4 Stars

    Sizzles with adventure and passion!

I’ve loved every one of the books in this series, but I’ve been dying for Wolfe’s story and I was not disappointed! Wolfe is an interesting character, he’s added a lot of humor to the previous books with his quirky ways and his mysterious past. Although he’s the muscle behind the team, the way he thinks has often led me to think of him as almost innocent. He’s got such a pure heart when it comes to those he loves. And he’s fiercely protective of them as well, especially Dana. I wasn’t sure if I’d like Dana or not but I should have known better. Ms. Zanetti did an incredible job of creating a heroine that could stand up to an alpha hero who wanted to control her, all while giving her the type of personality that made me want to be her friend. This book sizzles with adventure, danger, humor and passion. Broken starts off fast and never slows down. With all the other wild Deep Ops characters to help this couple along the way, this made for a great escape from all the things that were currently weighing me down.

    Fast Paced Romantic Suspense

Broken is the first book I’ve read from Rebecca Zanetti but it definitely won’t be my last. This book is part of a bigger series. Even though I hadn’t read the previous books, I never felt lost or that I was missing out. Broken tells the story of Clarence Wolfe who is ex-military and currently part of a Deep Ops team and Dana, a spunky investigative reporter. Dana’s current story and Wolfe’s personal mission have them crossing paths and working together. From the very beginning, sparks are flying and tension is high. This book reminded me how much I love Romantic Suspense. It was sexy, fun, tense at times and kept me engaged to where it was hard to put down. I really loved the whole Deep Ops team and am definitely wanting to read the stories in the series that have already happened as well as others to come. Plus, there’s a sweet, hilarious dog, Roscoe, that just has you laughing out loud. Broken is a book I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a bit of action with their HEA. Fans of Pamela Clare would really enjoy this. Loved it! Thank you to NetGalley and Kensington for an ARC of this book. The opinions here are my own.
