    Thanks for your feedback!

    Good enough for a re-read

I read this book early in my Vietnam war frenzy then after reading many others I thought of reading it again and I'm glad I did. His honesty about his personal experience and his attempts to bring the reader closer to his relationship with the people of Vietnam and his own sanity are refreshing after all the canned Vietnam auto biographies. Sure his writing is unpolished but the message is there. A satisfying read.
