    Great author, great book.

I have come to really like this author and I loved this book. I found it utterly gripping, moving, a true page-turner. Order this one -- you won't be sorry.

    great but stretched

A good modern story. I enjoyed it although the tale got a bit stretched and finished quickly. It was not full of "Americanisms" and easy reading.

    Intern

The plot was good but the story wasn't fully developed. Left you feeling a little robbed. Ideal for a wet-day read.

    Kept me turning pages

I kept turning pages because I couldn't guess what was going to happen next. A political intern goes missing, and the book covers, almost day by day, how this affects everyone in her life and even those in the community who don't know her. Although I can guess the headlines it is based on, this is not a copycat story. Instead, it delves into how such a tragedy happens, and how it forever changes those involved. My favorite character is the congressman's wife, who has to decide if she can continue hiding from the reality of her life.
