    Thanks for your feedback!

    Great children book on moving.

This is a well written and illustrated children’s book about having to move. It was dedicated to those families In the military who often have to move many times. This book would be great for any child who is facing a move or reading in general. The illustrations are bright, colourful and will definitely be able to hold children’s attention. The narrative is age appropriate and I enjoyed the writing style. I liked that the book was from a child’s point of view. I think children relate well to other children. I see the potential for parent-child discussions about an upcoming move. I also think it might be a chance to discuss feelings. This is a well done book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

One thing that is constant in a military family is moving. Moving is always difficult but when you have to do it all the time it is really hard because it is like starting again from scratch: new house, new neighbours, new school, new friends, etc. The pictures looked like if they have been made by a child which will attract more attention from them. I liked the map; that would help children to learn about different countries and where they are situated.
