I read this with only a few breaks in between. I would have loved to have learned more about the grandfather and Eduardo's past. Ren and Emma are cute together andi liked reading the chemistry between them. A great personal fun aspect i found was to read about some of the others involved in their story, mostly because i read all the other books as well and it was fun to see people like Glacier and Mandy make appearance. I always enjoyed reading about the tightness of the VamLyc clan in most of the books, and how they watch out fr each other. Even if things are hitting the fan among themselves. The way it takes place in a modern time but still holds the fantasy factor weaved in withcreatures unnatural is what mostly made me find my way to the books. And as much as there is going on bedwise, which is also a lot of the fun to read about i admit, i honstly love concept of mythical creatures. For now i cannt say i have a favorite just yet, bt maybe in time i will. Things like this always spark my own creative mode and i mostly end catching up reading on mystical creatures that then get drawn out on paper, mostly because books like this enligten me. I hope this does not spoil too much for those that have yet to read te book, but since it is a personal review it may be nice know how a European reader regards it. Thank you for a fun read and i will be looking forwards to reading more of any future editions of this series. Regards Dee

Good but kinda short. It was nice to see a good vampire for once who didn’t want to kill everything that lived and drain them of blood. He loved his granddaughter, which having one was pretty amazing, and taught her well. All in all an enjoyable read.

  • Loved this couple!

This is definitely my fav of this series so far! Redson is an adora-grump, and his saucy little mate is just what the dr ordered. Throw in the hot gramp vamp and some delightful humor and I'm a happy gal.
