    Thanks for your feedback!

    Wow! Loved it!!

This book had me from page 1. I couldn't put it down. A lot of new concepts and names, I had to turn back sometimes to re read a page, but that only made it more fun.

How did I miss this gifted writer?

I didn't think I'd like the book because it was written as a journal which I thought would lack action. Boy was I wrong-it was amazing. Cass, the main character of the book, walks home from school after taking her final exam, takes a wrong turn and ends up on another world. She manages to survive on her own until she is rescued by warriors from another connected world who traveled through gates and spent their lives fighting monsters. To them she is a stray, usless and probably stupid. Gradually they come to realize she may be a valuable tool. The problem is they treat her as such and do not see her as a person. Cass is grateful for her life but she wants to go home. As she learns more about their world she becomes more valuable, but still just a tool. Will they ever let her go if she can discover a way home? I can't believe I never ran across this writer before. After I finished this book I looked her up and found the rest of the series(not a stand alone book) was all written so I don't have to wait to find out what happens next. Yea!

    Okayish

Dislike bad language so that annoyed me even though not too much of it. Humouress, which made it fun. Bit confusing at times, willing to see where the story goes.

    Stray

A novel blend of fantasy, paranormal and sf and a new take on 'other worlds'. Loved that the main character has a functioning brain and not a dirty mouth. I shall definitely complete the trilogy

Amazingly descriptive look at a new world. I read the whole series back to back. Its fast paced and totally comprehensive, funny and well rounded characters. I loved these books.
