    Thanks for your feedback!

    Excellent

This is a fantastic addition to the series. It's the second full length book and I recommend that this series be read in order of publication beginning with Hanover House The prequel novella that started it all. Part romantic suspense, part thriller, this entire series will keep you on the edge of your seat. In this installment Evelyn is working with a new inmate Dr. Lyman Bishop. Known as the Zombie Maker. The further the case progresses and then when another murder occurs Evelyn begins to wonder if her own past is coming back to haunt her once again. This is an amazing series and one that I would recommend to everyone

    Hello Again by Brenda Novak

Hello Again by Brenda Novak Evelyn is surrounded by psychopaths. Some near. Some far. But all very nasty and evil people. Could you live your life knowing there is someone waiting for just the right moment to pounce and then destroy you, your family and your whole life? A thrilling read of suspense with lots of tension in the last half where you sit on the edge of your seat. 2nd in the series but can easily be read on its own. You will want to read this in one sitting if you can. And then you have to wait how long for the next book to come out? An ending, but also not.

    Brenda Novak’s Hello Again

Terrorizing, horrifying and intriguing read!! Forensic psychiatrist, Dr. Evelyn Talbot runs the Hanover House. It is a high security penitentiary and a research facility where the worst serial killers are housed. It is located in the isolated town of Hilltop, Alaska. The serial killers are here in order for Dr Evelyn Talbot to study the psychopathology of their behavior patterns. Evelyn is the only victim of a serial killer who managed to escape after she was kidnapped, tortured and left to die in a burning cabin. Then the serial killer disappeared but Evelyn knows he is still out there. And he is plus he has Evelyn in his sites. With a totally new face, he has bided his years but is coming after her!!! While he is planning his next move, there is a new serial killer that arrived at the facility. The psychopath, an exceptional cancer researcher, who developed a knack of performing lobotomies with an ice pick on his victims. He claims innocence but was he really wrongly convicted?? What will happen if he gets released?? He has threatened to come after Evelyn if he should get his conviction overturned and freed. Alaskan State Trooper, Sergeant Amarok, as he is nicknamed and Evelyn live together. He wants to marry her but she is still undecided. Amarok’s past girlfriend has resurfaced in Hilltop. She has returned to open a gun shop and has set her sights on getting Amarok into a relationship. Will she succeed in winning him from Evelyn? A riveting storyline weaving the past and present together with thrills, chills, intrigue and a well created, well developed and vivid cast of characters. A great read!! I volunteered to read Hello, Again. Loved it so much I bought a hard copy of the book.

    Thrilling and suspenseful! Loved it.

Hello Again was so wonderfully creepy, that I highly recommend only reading it during daylight hours. I love how Evelyn's mind works, and how Novak's writing gets us into the criminals' minds as well. It makes the book not just interesting, but fascinating as well. There were surprises around every turn, and I think nearly every page had my nerves on edge. It was like watching a scary movie, where you are yelling at the screen, but I was yelling at the pages. The ending left me speechless, and I can't wait to see what is coming next. I received a complimentary copy of this book.

    Perfection!!!

This stellar novel is the second in the Dr. Evelyn Talbot series and it features Dr. Evelyn Talbot and Sergeant Benjamin "Amarok" Murphy. I'm not really into suspense novels but this one has a thread of romance running through it and it is a series by an amazing contemporary romance author that I adore. I figured I would give it a try and I'm so glad I did! As I started reading I immediately got sucked into the story line and let me just say that the way it's put together is perfection! The characters, the build up, the plot twists and even the end we're fan-freaking-tastic. Several times, while reading, I felt myself inhaling deeply at what was happening but none more so than a little more than halfway into this book. It was SHOCKING! Brenda Novak, you are as fabulously talented at writing romantic suspense as you are at writing contemporary romance. I can't wait to find out what happens in the next book.
