    Hooked

Once again I'm hooked. I just love the character even when I get upset with them. It keeps you on the edge, wondering what's going to happen next. I can't wait to read the next book. Keep it up Tasha Black.

A riveting read from start to finish

I feel like it's been forever since I've last read a book from Tasha Black, when really it's only been a few months. So I couldn't wait to jump into 'Augmented', book 2 in Tasha's "Building a Hero" Trilogy, please start with book 1 so you don't miss out on what happens previously. Again I was instantly drawn into the story, taken back to where I finished in book 1, memories rushing forward to remind me as to what happened, reading through the story as if it was only 60 pages long (it's far larger than that). I quickly finished. The ending in this book left me with so many questions, it's not funny.... I feel like Tasha loves nothing more than to leave us with CLIFFHANGERS. The action, intrigue, fights... everything within just holding you, keeping you hostage until that last page, when you keep trying to turn the page & none come forth. Where you want to throw your book/ereader hard against the floor. Hmmm that seems like I didn't like book 2... I FLOVED it & can't wait to read what comes next for West & Cordelia. P.S. I do hate that it's meant to be a trilogy though.

    Great Series!

This is the second book in the Building a Hero Series. This story continues where the first book ended. The storyline is fast-paced, with action, intrigue and some funny scenes. Cordelia and West's story is complicated with misunderstandings and lack of communication. I love Jessica, Cordelia's sister. She's a wonderful character. Dalton's kidnapping added much mystery. Now I can't wait for the last book in the Series, Upgraded. The narration was well done, as always with Mason Lloyd. He has the perfect voice for this Series! He has a great range of voices, easy to distinguish. I liked the Afterword by the author! I received this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.

    Super fantastic

Amazing storyline, amazing characters. Cordelia is still having trouble with the bite on her hand. The bite and her feeling edward is in trouble seems to be connected. So she checked out Edwards apartment. Finding it trashed and blood on the floor. West joined her. West seems to be a whole new set of problems for Cord her feeling for him keeps her from thinking clearly and there is the huge wall of trust issues she has about him. Can she trust him with her heart? Maybe but not with her sister's heart or well being. West is going overboard with his helping out the city as a type of super hero/ do gooder getting hurt left and right. And that's just the tip of this amazing story. It's just wow. More twists and turns and intrigue then you can handle lol

    Superhero Material

Cordelia is helping West get through the changes to his body after his accident. West is getting used to the upgrades to his body. Jess is trying to talk West into using his new and improved powers to help clean up the neighborhood. Dalton is on vacation. Mallory is smart and entertaining and constantly working to improve West's nanoparts. Meanwhile, Cordelia and West figure out that Dalton is missing and try and figure out what they can do. West and Cordelia are falling for each other but, will the miss communications between them pull them apart. This is an excellent continuation from book one in this series and may give us a new superhero. I loved the twists and turns, the adventure, the suspense, the humorous banter. The high tech drama is new for shifter books so that is really an intriguing addition to this story. I had to finish this book in one setting because I was drawn into the storyline and now I can't wait to see what happens in the next book.
