This series will delight and excite!

OMG! I am wrecked....totally and utterly wrecked. How, oh how am I going to survived until the next book???? WOW! Amazing, gut wrenching, unexpected, frightening....pick one, cause I feel all of this and more. This is the continuation of the House of Sin series and it picks up right where Forbidden left off. Luc's hand is forced when Natalie's life is put in danger. He will do anything to keep her safe, ever if it means marrying her! But as with all great stories, these two do not ride off in to the sunset and live happily ever after. They fight, they argue, they misunderstand each other and the intent behind every move the other makes. It takes Luc's willingness to let Natalie go, something that to this point he was never able to do before, that finally get these two to stop and talk, really talk to each other. Just as you think that things will be smooth sailing for these two love birds, we are thrown a curve ball of epic proportions! I cannot wait for this series to continue because it is simply amazing! As with book 1, there will not be a long wait, and I am glad, because, yes there is a cliffhanger, and yes you will want to scream NNNNNOOOOOOOO! But I can guarantee that this series will delight and excite with its twists, turns, and edge of your seat suspense. Love this series! Now, I might need to curl up in a ball and rock a bit until I feel better, or until the next book, which ever comes first.

    OMG that ending!

Deceived begins with Luciano Salvaciti and Natalie James of an island in the Caribbean and a lot has happened but Natalie is completely unaware of it because she's been unconscious for most of it. Every attempt Luc makes to gain her love and trust once more backfires because he is unwilling to give her the whole truth. This leads to an emotional roller coaster that will have you tearing up and siding with both Luc and Nat as their inner thoughts are revealed. The ending, however, is what will leave you gasping and hurling expletives and the Salvatici house for sure. I received an Advanced Reviewers Copy for voluntary review consideration.

    Amazing

Natalie is one amazingly strong feisty woman. Luc is one complicated strong man. Luc comes from one messed up family. They have some really bizarre beliefs. Could not wait to see where the story would go. Can’t wait to read the next book.

3.5 Stars - What is going to happen??

Deceived by Elisabeth Naughton Series: House of Sin 2 3.5 Stars - This book starts off right where the last book ended, so you will need to read Forbidden first to know what is going on. That said, this book is a bit of a conundrum for me. Early on in this book, some events happen that just make me upset, and I thought to myself “seriously.. If this happened to me I would LOSE it!” Which on the plus side, allowed me to relate to Natalie a lot. Then comes the middle of the book where both characters seem to do a 180 on their attitudes and behaviour, and I am wondering if this is what the title is about. I am also secretly hoping that this is who the hero really is, because I am a romantic and I love a happy ending with all the good lovey-dovey stuff. However, if that was the case it would also leave me unable to understand how Natalie could ever trust Luc again. I know that this is not the end, there is one more cliffhanger, and one more part to this story. Naughton amped up the suspense just a wee bit at the end there to get you ready for the last book and I am left with conflicting feelings. Part of me doesn’t see a true HEA in their future, but the other part of me sure hopes there is! The content for me is a bit on the darker side then I would normally go for, but the writing is still wonderful. *ARC provided in exchange for honest review*

Bravo Ms. Naughton, you have my full attention...

4.5 Deceiving Stars Review by Amy W. Late Night Reviewer for Up All Night w/ Books Blog I'd known love wasn't real. I'd known it was a myth, but I'd let myself be fooled by a handsome face, by an empty promise, by meaningless words. And that was what hurt the most. Elisabeth Naughton knew what she was doing when she titled this one Deceived. So many deceptions, lies and secrets around every turn. Even as a reader its hard to know who to trust and just when you think there is a happy ever after in the future the wool is thrown over your head. At some point I had to wake up from this nightmare, didn't I? First thing first, you need to have read Forbidden before reading Deceived, this is not a standalone story. I can't say much about the storyline, its one you need to read to understand, but Natalie and Luc have so much to contend with. So many circumstances and people standing in their way. I knew what I wanted. I knew what I needed to do to protect my heart and mind. But the instant Luc kissed me, I forgot everything but him. I feel that Natalie and Luc's journey, or more like nightmare, gets more twisted the more I read. Nothing is as it seems and I can't wait to find out all the answers to the many questions I have. One that has been on my mind since the end of book one, where is Gio? He's going to pop back up and give me the shock of my life, I just know it. So, I am just going to sit back and anxiously await for the moment Undone hits my kindle and I get the answers I need. Bravo Ms. Naughton, you have my full attention and I cannot wait to see what happens next in the Salvatici House.
