    OK read

For me this is a tough one to rate. This book has good and bad parts but overall it's not a bad read. The characters are interesting, there is plenty of suspense, and the story is intriguing. Bonus points for the hot guy with a great dog. The problem I had with the story was that is seemed to drag in places with a lot of nonsensical dialogue. Also I didn't feel the chemistry between Trisha and Matt. I found some parts of the story hard to believe as well. With all that said the suspense part of the story kept me interested even though the romance part of the story was lacking for me.

    love it

A sweet emotional love story full of suspense and mystery. Trista is shy awkward analysis at the CIA, Matt is a part of security there. After the first time they meet in an awkward situation it seems that Matt and Trista are destined to come together. Matt saves Trista's life more than once and after her house is destroyed because of the seriousness of the situation Matt is set to be Trista personal bodyguard. For Trista is that very hard because she is scared of the dogs, awkward when she is around Matt and her life is at risk. A lovely funny story, with great characters, great plot. Both Trista and Matt well developed likable. Matt has some deep scars from the past and because of Trista, he is the first time in his life, strong enough to process all the baggage. And Matt helps Trista to embrace her beauty and kindness. Really likable read. I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for Netgelly.

    Loved!!!

Wow!!! This is a fast moving book that I absolutely loved! Matt is a K9 cop working at the CIA, where Trista is an analyst. They barely know each other, but, before long, Matt finds himself fighting to protect her and keep her safe - which would be much easier if he knew who he was protecting her from or why she needed protection. The sparks flying from Matt and Trista were electric and I could practically feel the sizzle in my kindle. I loved them together and especially loved how they helped each other face their personal demons. Add in Sheba, the K9, and you've got all the elements for a great story. I particularly enjoyed learning more about police K9's and their training. I thought I knew all about them (my son is LEO training one), and the author managed to teach me even more about them in an engaging way. If you enjoy romantic suspense, you will love this book. While this is the first book I've read by this author, it won't be the last as I've added her to my must read authors' list. I'm looking forward to future books in this series.

This is a great beginning to this Federal K-9 ser

Lock N Loaded is the start of a Federal K-9 series. Readers are introduced to a handful of Alpha male characters and their K-9 animals. Each one with a purpose. CIA analyst Trista Gold and CIA K-9 officer Sgt. Matt Connors are the first in this series. The story is very much a ugly ducking vs prince charming with Gun fire, dead bodies, fires and lots of lovable animals. The story is fast pace, characters are well developed, everyone has a purpose and point in this story. Even as the story builds readers will find themselves surprised with the sweet moments that happen though out the book. The story wraps up in a nice little bow with a lot of heart and soul and readers hoping for more from Tee O'Fallon. This is a great beginning to this Federal K-9 series. Thank you to Netgalley and the Publisher Entangled Publishing, LLC (Amara) for the advance copy of Tee O'Fallon Lock N' Loaded
