  • Different enough to be interesting

The romance portion was a little over played for my taste and totally typical but the world itself was different enough to catch my attention and make the read worth while. Fast paced and entertaining a quick but satisfactory read.

  • Very Good - Fast Paced

With this book, Ms Tintera became on of my favorite writers. I don't know exactly why I like this book so much. The tone of this dystopian read is rather dark and somewhat violent.. Kids dying of a disease only to come alive again as something less than human, then enslaved to do the government's bidding. But amidst the secrets and mistreatment of the "Reboots" a light is sparked. He's number 22. He's as close to human as a Reboot can get, and as such his chances of survival are slim to none. You can't help but like him from the time he's introduced. When 22 chooses the almost robotic, but deadly, 178 to train him, an almost comedic romance starts to blossom. The depths of the characters aren't thrown at you all at once, but slowly peeled back, layer by layer, along with the secrets of the government faction that controls the Reboots . It keeps the story fresh and fast paced.

  • Reboot

I read this book in a sitting. It kept me turning the pages. Then suddenly it was over. I can't wait to read the sequel.
