    Saving Simon

I did enjoy this book. I originally picked it because my daughter loves donkeys thinking it would be the typical story only to find out it was quite different. A very insightful narrative with many lessons along the way as well as an emotional ride. A good read and a writer I would read again.

    Saving Simon: Read It!

I have always had an affinity for donkeys, and I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Honestly, though, you don't have to love donkeys to love this read; if you love animals, you'll love this book. Jon Katz does a wonderful job going beneath the surface and examining everything that his relationship with this animal [and the other animals on his farm] has brought to his life. This is a warm, insightful story that you will be glad you took the time to read.

    Saving Simon

Jon Katz writes an incredible story about compassion and deep abiding love. I found that the emotional feelings he feels for Simon and the way Simon changed his outlook on Life go deep and warm. I really learned a lot of new things that I will never forget.
