5 star Review of Serves me Wright (Wright #9) by K.A. Linde Having recently read Wright With Benefits, I couldn’t wait to dive in to Jordan Wright’s story, Serves me Wright. It was everything I was hoping it would be and so much more. I love the Wright family, their friends and extended family and it was great to be back in Lubbock, Texas. Having met Jennifer before I couldn’t wait for her to finally get the happily ever after that she so deserved. The fact that it is with Jordan who I adore, was an added bonus. Jordan and Jennifer have been friends for 3 years and yet Jordan has no idea that Jennifer has feelings for him. When they both need a “fake”date they come together to help one another out. I love small town romance stories and I found myself smiling throughout as I read this one. This was a heart warming, romantic, passionate story of love and family that was well written and drew me in. The connection they have is deep and it was entertaining to watch this feisty couple come together and find their happily ever after.

  • A Captivating, unputdownable read!

Serves Me Wright is the book I have been patiently waiting for and it didn’t disappoint at all. I was captivated from start to finish. It is Julian Wrights book and hands down some of Ms Linde’s best writing. The drama, secrecy, family and friends all made this one unputdownable book. I can not get enough of the Wright family. I feel like they are old friends and Ive come to really crave their stories. In this book Julian is unexpected, in saying that, I mean hes different to what I thought he would be, but in a good way. Jennifer may work as the Wright Vineyard photographer but having had a crush on Julian for years, little do these two realise what will happen when they agree to ‘fake date’ each other for certain events. The twists and turns surprised me but it was the way the book unfolded and the genuine support the Wright family members that made this book an absolute must read! Julian and Jennifer are fire and I highly recommend their story!

  • Get ready to be charmed by Julian Wright!

Jennifer and Julian are friends, right? And friends help each other out? So, it makes sense that they would agree to fake dates to make Julian's poisonous snake ex jealous and quiet Jennifer's overly critical mom, right? The fact that they both secretly have feelings for each other won't complicate this favor at all. I loved Jennifer and Julian's story -- the journey from fake dating to casual fun and then forever. This series keeps giving us more to love. Jennifer is hardly the nerdy, anxious girl hiding behind a camera that we saw earlier in this series. Behind the camera, she's come into her own and found success with her photography. With Julian's love and support, she blossoms even further. She finds her voice and advocates for herself. Charismatic Julian is battling my favorite Wrights (Jensen and Austin) for top billing. Julian doesn't always do the right thing, but his heart is always in the right place. He's an excellent match for Jennifer as he knows just how to soothe and support her. As always with this series, the secondary characters play a critical role in the story. They are at their matchmaking best helping Julian and Jennifer. I can't wait to read Hollin and Piper's story. The sarcastic banter between those two is everything! Get ready to be charmed! Serve Me Wright is an enchanting story about finding your place in this world and acceptance.

  • loved every word

Another great read by K A Linde. Love these characters so much. Each story gives us a look of who each character is and what they are about and to fall in love with them. Julian and Jennifer may have started out as a fake relationship even though both had feelings for each other but never made them known. Jennifer held back because of social anxiety disorder and was always told to keep it to herself, and she did not want to scare Julian away if he found out. Julian really cares about Jennifer but realizes how shy she is and does not want to scare her away. He figures they could start out as a fake relationship with the hope it can turn into something real. Once that happens it is like he knows what she needs and is always there for her. To protect her and always support her. They are simply perfect together. I also love the secondary characters in this series. They are all such a close-knit unit. Something Jennifer never thought she would be a part of. She was shy and kind of nerdy when she was younger and had very few, if any, friends. Now she has this group of friends, and she could not be happier. Each new story makes me love this series more and more. Great characters, great chemistry, great stories, and great reads all written by a great author.

  • The Wright One!

I am obsessed with the Wright brothers & cousins and truly believe this could become a Netflix series! Can't get enough of them. This story is based on Julian Wright, a cousin, and Jennifer who was one of his first connections in Lubbock a few years back. But due to his mothers illness he focused on her recovery and although Jennifer wasn't far from his mind he ended up in a relationship with someone else. Flash forward a few years and Jennifer's crush on Julian continued to grow they both find themselves single at the same time and in need of each other to avoid their ex's. So they choose to form a "fake dating" pact as they believe this will solve their problems. However, the bigger problem is they both have feelings for each other and don't know it! They have two major events to attend together, first is her brothers graduation and second is a gala that Julian's ex, Ashleigh would be attending. Can they both pull it off without admitting how they truly feel for each other??? Part of the story which I resognate with is a focus on mental health and how the stigma of anxiety can hinder not only the one with it but what other's believe it is. I appreciate how K.A. Linde shares all different aspects of what Jennifer is going through. From being judged by her family, an ex-boyfriend and others it showcases what a daily struggle looks like. The other part of the story which I hope get's expanded on in the future is about Jennifer's brother Chester. Another focus on a subject that needs more attention and education as we grow as humans. Where Chess is struggling with coming out as Pansexual with his family and figuring out who he is. So many different parts to this story that keeps you turning those pages to find out what is next. Now I can't wait for the next one!
