  • Mind opening insights

I admire deeply and honesty Alain de Botton and his writings style and topics. In my opinion, he’s one of the best philosophers alive and his essays always come with a great deal of wisdom, knowledge and insights into the nature of oneself. This one in particular concentrates on ‘ know thyself’ and how to become a better friend of oneself. We are not the first to live on this planet and there are common patterns and pitfalls that people run into and this book really helps you identify them better, plan for ‘misfortune’ in front and have a positive, supporting attitude towards yourself (just like you have with one friend) when the time comes.

    Thanks for your feedback!
