    Awesome

This series just seems to keep getting better and better. This is a great second chance story as Tanner Bennett is reunited with his first love Katelyn Medford when she turns out to be the new wedding planner for Lovey and Marc DuPuis. With the attraction as strong as ever these two can't help but reconnect. Will this time work or will history repeat itself?? This entire series is enjoyable and one I highly recommend. This book is one of the best!

My favorite of the series so far!

This was a fun and sexy second chance romance, I loved it! I have enjoyed this series, but this is my favorite so far. The backstory of Tanner and Katelyn is heartbreaking. They were so in love in college, but life brought changes that couldn’t be altered. They both had commitments and there were misunderstandings that led to their heartbreak. Tanner and Katelyn have amazing chemistry and the pace of their love story is believable. There is a lot going on in their lives professionally and personally that is simmering in the background, but their feelings for each other can’t be denied. My heart broke for them when they finally talked about their breakup and the misunderstandings on both sides. I am not going to give any more about the story, as I want you to enjoy this sweet and spicy second chance sports romance.

    Loved!

Loved this book! A fun and very sexy romance between Katelyn and Tanner, who had been college sweethearts until circumstances forced them apart. When they are unexpectedly thrown together, the sparks practically sizzle off the page. I felt pulled into their world and as though I was experiencing it along with them. I even understood the hockey references...and I'm "sports impaired." This is a wonderful novel that fans of the genre will love. The author is on my must read authors' list.

Great addition to a strong series!

I found Back Check to be the best book so far in this series. I liked Tanner and Katelyn and wanted them to be together; Jamieson did a good job showing the reader what drove the couple apart years ago, and why they would want to try to connect again now. Tanner lacked maturity and emotional depth in the begining but it soon became apparent that he didn't lack the skill to have a mature relationship, he just lacked the desire to allow anyone the power to hurt him again. I liked Katelyn immediately. (Even though I'm seriously tired of books about event planners, not sure why this has become such a hugely popular job in the last few years in HEAs.) Katelyn was independent and confident and quite honestly didn't need Tanner to save her or prop her up in life. She would have been fine without him. However, she never would have had as happy a life as she did with him in her life. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys well written romance. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Fantastic addition to Aces Hockey series!

**Review copy received from the publisher and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review** There is nothing better than mixing sports and romance, especially hockey and romance! This is the fourth book in the Aces Hockey series and it was so great to be back with the guys and their girls! Tanner Bennet has never had warm fuzzy feelings where weddings are concerned. He's had one of his own, but then he's been in or at several others that have ended in heartache, not happily ever after, so when he's asked by his team captain and good friend, Marc Dupuis to stand up with him at his upcoming nuptials, he's less than thrilled, but determined to do it for his friend anyway. Katelyn Medford has been struggling to get her event planning business off the ground, but when she gets a panicked call from Lovey Armstrong, the fiancée of Chicago Aces captain Marc Dupuis, following her wedding planner leaving her high and dry, Katelyn's luck may be changing. Katelyn is working with Lovey to determine all of the details, but she gets the shock of her life when she meets the groomsmen and comes face to face with the man that broke her heart eight years prior. Tanner is just as effected by seeing Katelyn again because the last thing he wanted to do all those years ago was leave her behind and break her heart. Will both Katelyn and Tanner be able to overcome the heartache of the past to reconnect? Will they be able to move forward together or will they once again be torn apart by circumstances they don't have control over? Kelly Jamieson did a fantastic job with this book and it is a terrific addition to the Aces stable. I can't wait for the next one in the series!
