    Baffling

slow to begin with but it picks up; had to put it down a few times; was disgusted with the way they treated black people but I kept at it; I recommend it; I even bought book 2

    A Tough Job

This book read like a true story, and I was constantly on the edge of my seat, waiting for something truly awful to happen to these brave police officers. I'm sure this story is a good example of what it mist have been like for black people when they began to work in an all-white type of job, like policing. The discrimination they faced, in the book, is very likely what they faced in real life. I also think that women who became cops have faced the same trials and discrimination as these black men, with the added trauma of sexual harassment. It's a good read, and I would recommend it.
