    Rated 4.5 Stars

Devastate did just that, it devastated me in the best and worst ways possible. It was a gut-wrenching, heartbreaking, nail biting, page turning read that I quite enjoyed it even when it made me so ragey that I wanted to do some irreparable damage to a certain character. Devastate wasn't all dark, there were light hearted moments between Van and Tate that had me laughing out. Van doesn't know the meaning of the word boundaries. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and definitely recommend it to all lovers of dark romance. I cannot wait to read the next book in the series. ARC provided by author in exchange for a honest review

    Brilliant

This is the fourth book in the Deliver series. Read the previous books in order as this truly is a great series. Tate vows to find Lucia who is Camilas sister. He certainly doesn’t expect what he finds. He will do whatever he can to protect her and make her his. This truly is an amazing series. I haven’t got enough words in my vocabulary to give these books the reviews they deserve. If you enjoy dark reads then I highly recommend the Deliver series to you.

    Great read

Devastate was a great 5 star read. I was pulled in right from the beginning and couldn’t stop until I was done. This is book 4 in the Deliver series and what a great series it is. This is Tate’s story and I finally got some answers that I so badly needed. Tate is searching for Lucia and he is determined to find her. Lucia is Camila’s sister. He does eventually find her but she’s not what he expected. Lucia has been in a different world, a very dark and twisted world that has changed her. Things get very interesting between these two. The attraction grows stronger and they end up in a relationship. I don’t want to say anymore and ruin this great story for everyone. Pam Godwin has once again pulled me right in with her writing. She does a great job with the dark edgy stories. You get an action packed story with lots of twists. All of the secondary characters were great. If you like really dark reads then this is the series for you. You can read Devastate as a stand alone, however I highly suggest you start with book one. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book. Reviewed by MAustin from Alpha Book Club

    Devastatingly good

This series hasn’t failed to deliver, Pam Godwin is the go to author for dark love. Love never comes easy in this series, but it’s what you expect from a dark read. Devastate is Tate’s story and continuing with the series theme, Tate wants to prove his love for his his best friend but can’t have her because she belongs to another. Tate, however thinks that if he can find her sister he can maybe win her back. This see’s Tate thrust into the underbelly of Venezuela, searching for Lucia Dias, this is by means no an easy feat as he knows he must encounter a renowned crime lord to get his target. Not unlike the others, this story kept me gripped to find out what would be won and lost in the power for freedom and love. I love how within this series we get to catch up with pervious characters and I cannot wait to read about the next story in the mind blowing captivating series of darkness.

    It will devastate you!

Never has a book title been so on point on what the story will do to you - take heed, this is not for the faint of heart, and it will devastate you, as it does to the characters involved This is the story of Tate. Born to a prostitute, orphaned young, and raised by prostitues, only to be kidnapped and sexually tortured for weeks. His time in captivity left him damaged, and by the time he came around to profess his love for his best friend, her love had returned to claim her. He then focuses on making her happy, which involves finding out what happened to her sister all those years ago. Little does he realize, her sister, Lucia, is his other half, and she has been in hell all this time Lucia holds no hope, her life is limited, her time on earth, ticking away. She has long forgot her past, there is no one left from it. Her present makes her sick, but it is all she has, and she survives as well as she can. Her future doesn't exist, it is only the now. When Tate shows up, she starts to feel like maybe there is something more for her, but she should have known better This is a stand alone in a series, and a dark, twisted, angry, and violent series it is. Characters from other books, Cole is here, and from the series, Liv, and Josh are around. Van plays an important part in the book, and you get to see his softer side, though it is still pretty rough. Cole is also front and center, and still heartbroken, and we get his edgier side. It's a good thing, and he wears it well. Camilla and Matias are here, how could they not be, but they truly are minor in it all To say Tate and Lucia go through hell in this book is true. They are hurt, there are truly awful things that happen to them, and they fall apart. If you are of the faint of heart, or a sunshine and rainbow romance reader, this isn't your book. If you like the dark, the true dark and heartache, where really bad things happen, and yet, our characters make it through, you can handle this. Even Van gets bad and ugly things here, and his redemption continues, as he continues to try and be an okay guy. There is a new bad here, and he is really good at being that bad. He isn't done yet, and he is still out there. Van's former slaves are all still banded together, and they know, having right and might on their side, isn't always enough. Not in this world, not where they need to be, or where they have to go. Good doesn't always win, and even when it does, the scars run deep. In this case, there are so many scars, but they show they survived, and that is all Tate and Lucia get to cling to in the end, their scars
