    Very enjoyable

I really enjoyed this book! I like both the main characters a lot. Rob the up and coming baseball star. Heidi the struggling journalist. These two shouldn't be together but they share history. An incredible passion filled night from spring break during college. Neither of them has ever forgotten the other. Now she needs a story to get her big break. He's forbidden by his contract to give interviews to the press. These two work hard to find a way to have each other while not losing themselves. The book is very well done and it's one I think everyone will enjoy. I highly recommend it.

    Hitting It by Kathy Lyons

Hitting It by Kathy Lyons Sports related contemporary romance. Told from both the hero and heroine perspective in alternating chapters. Instant chemistry, lust and Tantra. I’m fine with any type of romance between couples whether it’s race, gender or age. Romance is beautiful. Here, the hero focuses very heavily on her Asian looks. Repeatedly. And in comparison. He’s enamored. I didn’t like when she went to his home town to “dig up dirt”. Redeeming herself, she felt bad about it. Not sure that’s enough to justify it but I realize her very life financial support relied on it. But I did like that she understood and expected that he would choose his career over herself. I liked Rob’s dilemma on liking Heidi if not understanding himself enough to know what he wanted, needed or should do. True to life. Until something clicks. And once it does, he needs to juggle career issues. Again, real life. Fortunately this is a romance so you can count on everything working out in the end. Fun Read!!!

3.5 stars. Heidi and Rob met at spring break where they shared a night together. Three years later they reconnect. Heidi really needs a story on Rob if she wants to continue with her journalism career but unfortunately Rob can’t talk to the press since it’s goes against his contract. But the passion and connection that they both share won’t stop them from being together. They might have had some challenges along the way but at the end their love prevailed. Hitting It was a fun read and I really enjoyed reading it. ***Received this ARC by NetGalley as an exchange for an honest review.
