    Thanks for your feedback!

Best read for a long time.

If you want a book that holds excitement, adventure, pain, love, fear, science fiction, human, and not-so-human, friends grasping for life in all kinds of places and situations, then I would strongly recommend you read this one! Finishing this book has left me with the feeling that my very best friends have moved on to better lives and have left me behind. I loved it.

    You'll be hooked!

Most unusually, I found myself intrigued by every single story in this collection and keen to read further in the series they belong to - something which only happens to me very rarely, alas! All the authors featured in this collection have a deft touch with characterisation and efficient, effective world building. You'll find yourself quickly coming to care for their protagonists, even if this is the first time you've encountered them. There were a few typos throughout the collection but none egregious enough to make reading onwards difficult. The only reason I haven't rated this anthology five stars is because (most disappointingly) although it's available via Kobo, a lot of the follow-up stories only appear to be sold in Kindle format, at least at present. I'd never load the Kindle app to my smartphone (its requirements for access to personal information & phone features that bypass your privacy settings are truly disturbing), and reformatting Kindle items to be compatible with other e-reader setups is difficult, so I guess I'll just have to wait and hope that one day the authors may expand their sales markets a bit further...? Sigh!
