    Excellent Romantic Thriller

Collison Point: A Brute Force Novel by Lora Leigh is an excellent romantic thriller, one I highly recommend. Amara has spent six months with the realization she lost a year of her memory after a brutal attack that should have ended her life. When Amara is not having horrible nightmares, she is dreaming of erotic encounters with the same man, one she suspects she knows. Amara goes on a desperate search that leads her to Riordan, whom she finds was a part of her life during the year she lost. Riordan has a strong bond to Amara, one slightly otherworldly that intrigued me immediately. Amara shares this bond with Riordan, indicated by dreams that were too vivid to be her subconscious mind, and her ability to find him when her memory loss should have made it impossible. Riordan is aggressive, both in and out of the bedroom. I enjoy a good alpha male. Riordan fits well into this category and is one of the better ones I have run across. Riordan's personality is well balanced with the tenderness he expresses for those he loves. Amara is vulnerable but not subservient to her male counterparts, which is important for me to embrace the heroine of the story. From the start, Riordan and Amara have fantastic chemistry which invested me in their relationship. The tension resulting from Amara's missing memories begins immediately. With the realization that Riordan is actually from Amara's past to Amara's missing memory holding the identity of her old captors still hunting her, I was on the edge of my seat at times. Unwrapping this story's mystery was a welcome addition to the love story. Having enjoyed Collision Point immensely, I will be trying more stories from Lora Leigh. All opinions are my own and may not be identical to others. I urge all readers to come to their own conclusions. I voluntarily received an ARC copy of this book through NetGalley.

    Enjoyable

Riordan Malone and Amara Resnova were once lovers until they had everything ripped away from them through lies and manipulation. Not only did they lose each other but the each almost lost their lives. Now Amara finds herself depending on Riordan once again to keep her safe. She can't remember everything that happened in the past but what she does know is that the passion and love they shared was all consuming. Now the more time they spend together the more the past is coming back to her and the more their love is reigniting. If they survive the current threat will they be able to get back what they lost? This was a good and enjoyable read with lots of steam and a great romance. I would have like a little more suspense and action but overall I would recommend this one.

    5 Intense Stars!

The more I read of Lora Leigh's books the more I'm sure she's one of THE best authors who really know how to make a couple sizzle on the pages of a book. The sexual tension is always intense between her characters. I love the bond her couples form and the fierce love they feel for each other. Amara was kidnapped and beaten by an unknown enemy. When Riorden, her bodyguard and lover saves her, he gets shot in the process. She believes he died just before she passes out from the trauma. 6 months later and Amara can't escape the nightmares of that fateful night. In her dreams is a man than she knows will always protect her, but she doesn't remember who he is. Riordan almost lost his life the night he saved his soul mate. He didn't care how much danger he was in, all he cared about was rescuing her. He would rather die with her than live without her. He thought she felt the same way until he's told she never wants to see him again while he is recovering in the hospital. This story has a touch of paranormal to it. The Malone family believe that there is one true soul mate out there for them and when they find that person, they form a bond that reaches beyond death. The connection is so strong that they can communicate through dreams. That bond is what ultimately brings Amara and Riordan back together, but they have many obstacles to overcome before they reach their happily ever after. I loved this book! Heck, I pretty much love everything I read from this author. She has yet to disappoint me when she is constantly bringing us the fierce love stories her main characters provide. I definitely want more in this series and highly recommend it. ARC provided by NetGalley.

    Collision Point

Once again, Lora Leigh has brought readers a new series, one with some very sexy, dominating and protective military men and the first book in the Brute Force series, Collision Point is a thrilling read that dominated my time until I had read every last word. Rory and Amara are strong, vibrant characters that keep readers enthralled with their explosive relationship that has some very turbulent complications that keeps emotions high, tempers frayed and even makes silences seem packed full of tension. The attraction between the two is electrifying and readers can practical feel the sizzle and the burn as the sex scenes heat up the pages, although the “mine” aspect of Rory’s dominant alpha male personality may be a bit over the top, but then again he has good reason to be overprotective. The plot is fast paced and full of danger and suspense that keep readers glued to the pages while the twists keep them guessing. The enemy is getting closer with several action packed moments that keep tension high as Rory and his team try to find the enemy and keep Amara alive. Amara’s emotional state and inability to remember about a year of her life adds to the suspense and thrills of the story and an unexpectedly twisted betrayal makes for an explosive conclusion. Lora Leigh’s Tempting Seals and Elite Ops books were two of the series that I have read by her and I have been waiting for Rory’s book since I read Noah’s book and I have to say that it was worth the wait and I can’t wait to find out whose book is next in this exciting new series.

    Collision Point

When I first started this one I thought I had read it before but quickly realized it was related to the Elite OP series. Amara was kidnapped and rescued and six months has passed and her memory is gone of the events of the kidnapping and all events leading up to it, however, she is still in danger. Riordan and Grandpops and the Elite Ops and Brute Force team are brought back to protect her. The amnesia was a tricky thing and the chemistry between Riordan and Amara was palpable and combustible but Riordan walking on eggshells around her at times didn't sit well. This was a typical Lora Leigh romance and full of steamy sex and that was not disappointing. **Received this ARC for review from the publisher via NetGalley**
