    Series is picking up heat!

Once again Lia Riley weaves such an incredible tale that you cannot put down! Archer Is VERY much a mans man but he helps Eden out when she needed it the most which in turn started the rollercoaster ride of their relationship. I absolutely adore Eden and her attitude. She gives as good as she gets. Even when it comes to Granny Hale! I absolutely loved the banter and the fun these two have throughout the whole book. I couldn't put the book down at all. I would highly recommend reading Last First Kiss prior to this one as they overlap and coincide with each other as we are dealing with the Hale boys! Archer is there for Eden when her slimy ex shows up in the picture. I love how this story was about finding yourself when you least expect it. When that one moment in life changes everything and you look at the world a different way. The way Lia flawlessly writes her stories and makes them quick and witty leaves you begging for more. I SO cannot wait till Best Worst Mistake comes out! Please pick up this series because it is beyond enjoyable!

    Starting over can be sweet

Archer Kane meets Eden Bankcroft-Kew in a diner in Las Vegas. It was a bad day for both of them, but it got better when Eden bummed a ride to his hometown of Brightwater. Archer is used to being the family screw up. He is the playboy, the joker, etc. Only after he meets Eden that he finds out he wants more out of his life. He helps her make a new start, but he is afraid what she may believe in the rumors about him. Eden is making changes. Now she goes by Edie Banks. She is the proud owner of a little cafe where she bakes and makes the town happy. Her competition is out to get her, her ex-fiance is out to bankrupt her, and she is new in town so many people do not trust her. Archer knows that making something of himself means starting over a bit like Edie. He wants her to be proud of him. Someday he hopes her to fall in love with him. He has to make himself someone she can be proud to call hers. The whole story is rather sweet and has many faces that are familiar to those of you already reading the Brightwater series. This is only book # 2, so it is not too late to get into this sweet little town with complex characters. It can be read as a standalone for those of you who wish to just try this one. ***This ARC copy is given from Edelweiss, Tasty Book Tours, the author and publisher for review purposes only.

    The Heiress and the Cowboy

I really enjoyed Last First Kiss, but RIGHT WRONG GUY was even more entertaining. A story of opposites attracting, this was fun to read and had me laughing out loud several times. Archer Kane is very well-known as the fun-loving Kane brother, his life defined by women, wild nights and his job as a wrangler and no-one really expects more from him. For the first time in his life, he finds himself playing the role of knight in shining armor to heiress Eden Bankcroft-Kew who needs to make a quick getaway out of Vegas. Eden is very different from Archer's usual type of woman but Archer is attracted to her and finds himself doing the unusual: courting a woman. Finding out that her fiancé was only interested in her for her money was one more hit to absorb, leading Eden to ditch him at the altar and spontaneously hitch a ride to the small town of Brightwater, California with cowboy, Archer Kane. Eden's life in New York had been mostly boring and this is her chance for a new start on her terms and she's going to take it. While she finds Archer very appealing, his reputation as a ladies' man is quite unappealing and this may be a case of the right guy at the wrong time. Responsibility has never been Archer's strong suit. He has spent a good part of his life avoiding commitments but he finds himself wanting to be more than just a punchline and his grandmother's challenge to him to step up and earn his place as the heir to the family ranch is exactly what he needs. From the first page, Archer endeared himself to me. He was sweet, charming, caring and very supportive of Edie. There is something very sweet about a reformed bad boy and when you add in his dedicated wooing of Edie, you get a double dose of sweetness. Edie is also a very sweet character. I love that she didn't let her fiancé's betrayal destroy her but instead she used that as a catalyst for a fresh start. I really admired Edie for taking the big step of starting over far away from all that was familiar and despite some of the issues she faced in Brighwater, her growing confidence gave her the courage to meet every challenge. I always enjoy it when characters are willing to communicate with each other and this is one reason why I prefer this over the first book. Archer and Edie were very open about what they wanted from each other, reducing the risk of drama and misunderstandings (which I really dislike!). RIGHT WRONG GUY is definitely a winner, in my opinion. Disclaimer: I received this book for free from the Publisher in exchange for an honest review. Quick and fun read

Archer is a first class charmer! While he may be a manwhore, he is also kind and funny, and once he lays eyes on Eden, he is done for. Having read the first book in the series, I was really looking forward to reading about what was brewing between Archer and Eden. Their relationship moves along pretty quickly and the drama surrounding them is pretty mild. Overall a quick and fun read, although I did enjoy Last First Kiss more. Can't wait to see what the mysterious Wilder Kane has been up to and who wins his heart! I received an ARC via Edelweiss for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review, all conclusions are my own.

    Fun Story

In this follow up to Last First Kiss, we get the story Archer Kane and Eden Bankcroft-Kew, or Edie Banks as she was known in book one. Archer is the youngest Kane brother and the the one best known for his easy laughs and manwhore ways. While Edie is trying to go a new direction in her life and decides that opening and running a local coffee shop is what she wants to do. This story actually happens around Last First Kiss. Meaning, it starts prior to the events in that book and continues after it's conclusion. It was interesting seeing some familiar scenes through another set of eyes as well as getting a different perspective on previously met characters. Archer and Edie had an interesting start to their relationship, meeting for the first time in a diner; each one having had a moment of insight into the direction their life's were taking them. Their meet cute had me smiling and looking forward to their further interactions. Each was a path of change, but not for the other person, for themselves. It just happened to work out that it also brought them closer together. I really liked how that worked. *smile* This was a fun story and gave us more background and history for "America's Biggest Little Town" as well as Grandma Kane. She's really starting to grow on me. I bet there's a lot more to her than we have seen so far. I waffled back and forth between 3 and 4 stars, but ended up giving this book 4 stars (I went with 3.5 and rounded up). Thanks to Edelweiss and Avon for the opportunity to read and review the book.
