    It's Finally Here!

Julie Garwood has long been an autobuy author for me. So after a long, long wait - I almost thought there would not be another book! - “Wired” released at last. Was it worth the wait? Allison Trent is Girl Wonder. College student, brilliant computer geek, stunning model/muse for a famous designer, plus a heart of gold….a totally fictional babe! Special Agent Liam Scott is no slouch either - FBI agent who is in charge of some serious world-wide unit in the Agency who has a law degree, body of a Greek god and panty-melting intensity. Yep, a true larger-than-life fictional hero. When an information leak within the FBI places lives and investigations in danger, Liam needs Allison’s hacker talents to find the problem. Allison turns down Liam’s request for assistance numerous times, but how long can you hold out on a “true larger-than-life” hero? One thing I know I am getting with a Julie Garwood book is characters that are just too good to be true. I accept the fact that the Buchanan siblings and their friends are all gorgeous, brilliant and perfect. I accept that the people they hook up with are all gorgeous, brilliant and perfect. Do the characters and their actions seem a bit out of the realm of reality? Absolutely, and I am OK with that. Ms. Garwood still writes well, the plots are still developed and the Buchanans are still amazing. I enjoyed catching up with that family - sure, this read maybe wasn’t quite up to the level of her prior books (I loved Mercy, The Murder List and Slow Burn - such perfect mixes of romance, suspense and humor!), but I would take an OK Julie Garwood book any day of the week. I enjoyed this book too much not to give it an extra star. I for one am hoping Ms. Garwood is working on a new book as I write this - I am looking forward to reading it!

    Great!

I really enjoyed this book. I couldn't put it down. However, I felt like the ending was cut too short.
