    The best ending!

I can't get over this ending. I finished reading this in just one sitting because that's how invested I was to know how Gabriela and Stefan's story unfolds even more after how it ends in a cliffhanger in the first book. I have been patiently waiting for this one and I am definitely not disappointed. Reading this duet have me wanting to read more mafia romances! This was filled with betrayal, hate, trust, loss, sadness and so much more. Gabriela, I can feel all her hurt and hate but at the same time her love and trust. Stefan may appear evil, but he wants nothing but to make Gabriela happy again. And you can really feel it.. I'm loving this duet and definitely going to read more from the author!

    What an epic conclusion!

After that epic cliffhanger ending of book one, let's just say,I was dying to get my hands on this book. I wasn't disappointed. It was everything I wanted and more. The story continued where it left off, and emotions are running pretty high. I felt the slow burn of their romance and yes, I was pretty much dying for it to happen. Along with this, the story is wrought with intense, nail biting, edge-of-your-seat, suspense as they differentiate friends from foes. Absolutely loved the hell out of this and I cannot wait for more of this author's work!

    Damage

Both this and the book Collateral were excellent. Natashia Knight never disappoints. I have yet to read one of her books that I didn't like. This duet had the perfect combination of action and dark romance.

    It was SUBLIME!

Damage captured my heart, my soul, my body, my mind, my every thing! It left me speechless. It left me raging. I cried. I hated. I loved. I felt so much. Stefan was a character I hated yet loved. He was just as cruel as he was in Collateral. Gabriela was more vulnerable. She was punished and loved by Stefan. He becomes her salvation. I can't believe this was just a duet. I'm aching for more.

"One heroic act does not a hero make"

"One heroic act does not a hero make" What a flipping ending! Gabriel once again tested my patience but as I pointed out previously she is a result of her circumstances and she is so young. And she still believes in fairy tales. Watching Gabi maneuver through the shark-infested waters of her life was a whole new level of suspense. Even I was never sure who was a friend and who was a foe. I wanted so many times to reach out and comfort her. To tell her it would be okay. Eventually, it had to be right? A few times I think she came very close to just letting go but her heart knew what her mind could not process. Stefan still one of my favorite anti-heroes. I still am torn between throttling him and straddling him. Watching him play both roles - the dark vigilante and the loving fiance, each battling for dominance over the other was at times emotional trying. He knew in his heart what he wanted but like Gabi, he just wasn't listening. Turns out I was pretty close about who was behind some of our previous ill encounters but I was waaayyyy off on a bunch of other twists. Be prepared for a bit of a roller-coaster ride with this closing duet. That is one of the things that I enjoy so much about Knight's work. She always tosses in the unexpected.
