Amazing. Exactly what i wanted yet surprising and attention grabbing. Only complaint is I wanted more Dr Mensah! Also more book! (so maybe not ONLY complaint)

  • Murderbot continues to grow and delight

I've seldom loved a character as immediately and completely as Murderbot. For that reason, I wasn't an objective reader and can't give an objective review. That said, this novel was a more than worthy successor to the four novellas. As in each one of those, in Network Effect, Murderbot continues to experience new relationships, new aspects of old relationships, and unwelcome emotions. That ART returns and we get to see that relationship again is simply a huge bonus. The plot moves with a brisk and delicious pace, and Murderbot's crazy solution to a particular problem late in the book takes on an interesting life of its own. Wells clearly has more to say about this universe, about SecUnits, about sentience and corporation-controlled spaces -- and after this book, I more than ever want to read all of it.

  • marry me murderbutt

I loved it so much. The worldbuilding, the characters, the storytwists. Murderbot's sarcasm is what i live for, and i didn't know machine intelligence tantrum/arguments is all i ever wanted for christmas. Like 5 christmases are in there.

    Thanks for your feedback!

  • Save to Long Term Storage

After I finished with the series I saved it to my long term memory. The station feed has told me to be on the lookout for the followup "Fugitive Telemetry" in a couple hundred preservation standard cycles.
