    Total Surrender

I loved Total Surrender! I've really been looking forward to this book and Rebecca did not disappoint me. Jory and Piper are strong main characters. There is conflict, tension, attraction, and danger surrounding them. I really love Jory. He just made me feel. With everything his brothers and him have been through how he has turned out is amazing. Rebecca writes his character so very well, and made me feel for him. A mix of sadness and hope. Reading from Jory's POV was so enlightening. I loved getting in his head and knowing how he feels. Piper is an interesting character! At times she was a bit frustrating. With the situation she suddenly finds herself in, her willingness to blindly trust 'The Commander' was understandable but maddening! I felt like she had blinders on half the time. I liked how her character developed though. It wasn't fast, but at a slow, steady pace that was realistic. Together the steam factor between Jory and Piper is amazing. I loved the family connection that is felt through out all of the Sin Brothers books, and Total Surrender was no exception. Rebecca obviously cares about the Dean brothers, and I did too. Their journey of where they were, where they are today, and if all goes well what their future will hold really grabbed a hold of my mind and heart. Rebecca also makes you think too...can stuff like this happen? Who knows? And it's a little frightening! Total Surrender is action packed, thrilling, and heart stopping romantic suspense at it's best. The pace is fast and with unexpected twists to the plot, the flow is smooth and intriguing! Total Surrender is book four in this series and I would recommend reading the books in order to have a solid understanding of the characters and the story. I love the continuation of the plot between the books, without the frustration of cliff hangers. I'd highly recommend Total Surrender to all romantic suspense readers!

    Surrender is not an option

Piper Oliver met Jory Dean when her father employed her to save his life. He had a chip implanted in his spine that is basically a ticking time bomb set to go off. After being nicked by a bullet, no one was certain if there was any way a computer could still talk to said chip. Piper, and her history of hacking, were certainly a good choice to figure it out. Jory had never been attracted to a woman the way he was Piper. He has such little time left before he will certainly die. Since there seems to be no repairing the chip - he is preparing himself for the worst. While working hard to free his brothers from the same fate. Piper cannot believe she is coming to trust a man her father told her is a criminal. Yet her information seems wrong or skewed. Jory seems to be telling her the truth, and it does not match what dear old dad has to say. Who can she trust? Lives are on the line. Jory knows that Pipers father is just using her and will probably sacrifice her for his idea of the greater good. He is trying to solve the mystery for everyone involved before his expiration date. Wow! What a great book! Good addition to the Sin Brothers series. This is book # 4, for those of you reading this amazing series. All of y our favorites are here from prior books, and it is not necessary to read them to enjoy this one. ***This ARC copy was given from Netgalley.com and its publisher for review purposes only.

    Fabulous finish!

A fabulous finish for the Sin Brothers series! If you have been following the Sin Brothers series, this was worth the wait. If you are new to it, then Jory and Piper's dangerous and sultry romance will be a real treat, but I recommend reading in order: Forgotten Sins, Sweet Betrayal, Blind Faith, then Total Surrender. The Dean brothers (Matt, Nate, Shane, and Jory) are genetically engineered super soldiers, endowed with incredible strength, skills, and abilities. They were created to be used in secret military missions and espionage. Abused and denied their humanity, treated like soulless military assets, they finally made a break for freedom, only to discover that they are programmed to die if they don't return to the Commander in five years time. There are "kill chips" implanted in their spines, set to go off if the correct code is not given to disarm them before that deadline. Through the first three novels Jory Dean has been an enigma. The brilliant, computer-savvy youngest brother went missing in action while hunting for a code to deactivate the kill chips. The Dean brothers fear Jory may be dead but have refused to stop searching for him until they have solid proof of his fate. And with their superhuman senses, elite military training, and single-minded drive, nothing can stand between these soldiers and their need to protect those they love. In this fourth installment, Jory is revealed. Oh, my! I fell for Jory right away, in the first chapter. His masculine intensity seems to explode off the page. He has been recaptured by the Commander but his kill chip is damaged and until it's fixed there is no way to deactivate it. Piper has been tasked with working with Jory to fix his damaged chip. She senses a mutual attraction immediately. And with Jory's enhanced physique, enhanced intelligence, and unmistakable sensuality, the attraction is irresistible. But, she's also been told he is a traitor. A masterful liar. A man trained to use seduction as a weapon. Can she trust him? Prepare yourself for an intense and powerful romance. As time runs out before those kill chips are set to detonate, Zanetti throws in new surprises, pours on the emotion, and takes us to the edge of suspense. Her characters are so sexy, so potent, so exciting that I didn't want the book, or the series, to end. At the same time, I couldn't stop reading, couldn't put it down! This was so much fun to read! Bravo. (An ARC of Total Surrender was received from the publisher through NetGalley.)

    Total Surrender

I was disappointed with this read. I felt a lot of words were redundant and could have been cut from the story.
